It’s almost Recital time! The girls brought home their costumes a few weeks ago and we stuffed them into closets so they wouldn’t get ruined between then… and now! But, the recital is now a few days away and we just took some time to try on everything and take some photos.
The dance studio has a real photographer come to the studio to take photos but they are very expensive, you have to pay for any outfit changes, and you pay extra if you want siblings to take photos together. Since each of the girls has three costumes — we were looking at a few hundred dollars for their photos! So, we decided I would just take some pictures of them in the yard. I think they came out pretty good!

Finally… ballet!
We lost steam (and smiles) by the time we got the ballet costumes on, but still… they came out beautifully. The girls are very excited for their Recital (this coming Saturday) and they can’t wait to hit the stage.
Next year, Lola will continue with all her dance classes — she just can’t give them up she says. Eva is going to change up her schedule and she’s only going to take ballet. She says the tap shoes hurt her feet and jazz is too hard. ha!
