Last week I shared that we swapped the kids’ rooms and today I’m sharing Lola and Eva’s new space!
They have a pretty good-sized room now! They were outgrowing their previous room pretty quickly. This room is nice because there’s a bunch of built-in drawers and even some built-in shelving.
The built-ins hold extra diapers, and wipes and some are just empty… but eventually I’ll use them as their dressers. Right now they each have a dresser but once Eva has a real bed too, we might need to change up the space and purge some furniture.
They don’t have too many toys upstairs (and the Toy Story toys kill me, but they love them!) but they do have the new dollhouse in their room.
They also have a small book nook and a two comfy beanbag chairs.
So far, everyone has been enjoying their new spaces. Lola had one night when she said she wanted her old room back but she hasn’t said anything about it since. All three of them go in the wrong direction when they get to the top of the stairs 🙂 so they are still getting used to the change! But it’s been exciting and I love both of the rooms now.
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
