Castle Island.

This morning we took the kids to Castle Island. Javi led the way around the “castle” though he was a bit disappointed it didn’t look more like a princess castle (and that he couldn’t open the doors to get inside!)

It was so cold and windy! I think saying that it was 35 degrees would be an exaggeration. After walking around the fort and watching the airplanes take off from Logan, we stopped by the playground. Honestly, we tried to bypass it but they spotted it from afar! We couldn’t get around it.

Then we had to stop at the “bee” as Eva calls it (the beach!) Javi actually asked if he could take off his boots and feel the water. ha! Lola couldn’t stop collecting rocks. Her pockets are full of them. And Eva kept trying to throw the shells back into the water but they usually ended up being tossed behind her.

We finished off the morning with a longer walk near the water but only made it halfway because Eva let us all know she was done. 🙂

It was a really nice morning!
