Children’s Books for Halloween.

A few weeks ago, in anticipation of Halloween, I dug out all our Halloween books from the basement. I like to keep the holiday books packed up so that when they pop up at that time of year, the kids are excited! There’s just nothing I love more than a themed children’s bookshelf. No matter the season, holiday or topic — a themed bookshelf makes it that much more fun to read all the books. Even though we have a ton of books, I feel like there’s always room for more. So we’ve also been borrowing lots of books from the library.

I talk a lot about books and reading and many people comment about how much my kids love to read, and love being read to. And it’s true! They love books. Having fun books readily available, and swapping out books frequently, makes reading more attractive around here — for me and the kids. I don’t like to read the same books over and over!

So, here are some of the Halloween books we are loving!

It’s hard to pick our most favorite Halloween books but I think the top 3 are:

  1. Creepy Pair of Underwear
  2. Pig the Monster
  3. Leila the Perfect Witch

What are you reading?!
