Kid Picks for Valentine’s Day

affiliate links.

January is a month for new beginnings and for goal setting. This year, for me, I committed to a “no-spend January”. People do this in lots of different ways. Some commit to buying NOTHING during the month — as in they even use up all their food in the pantry and freezer and just don’t do anything for a month. I decided that, for us, it meant:

  1. no online shopping
  2. buy only food + gas

It’s been hard! I’ll admit that last weekend I had no break the commitment to buy Javi a new helmet for ice skating but OTHER THAN THAT, I haven’t bought anything that isn’t food or gas. So, as you can imagine… I’m counting down the days until February 🙂

And what will I buy first? Well since next month is Valentine’s Day, baby and toddler clothing, of course! I’m a sucker for anything with hearts on it but can totally do without the word “heartbreaker” on kids clothes! I’ve scoured some sites (so difficult to do when you don’t want to spend money) and here are some of my favs for Lola!

heart peplum top // Valentine’s day top with jeggings // tunic and legging set // glitter heart and tulle skirt

love-print cotton tee // ruffle trim sweatshirt and printed leggings // changing with love // changing with love

AND of course, I can’t forget about my little toddler boy. 🙂

love dragon tee // vader heart saber tee // raglan tee // heart tractor

Have you ever done a “no-spend” month? I’d love to hear some success stories. 🙂 I still have 11 days.
