March is always a long one! But we made it through. Here’s a recap of our month:
We started the month with Walker’s birthday! We also celebrated Sean’s birthday, and Javi shared his 1/2 birthday with Barb!
We finally got the chance to go outside… and it wasn’t frigid. (Mostly)… Playgrounds, the backyard, bike rides and roller skates… all the kids are so excited to go outside and stay there until bedtime!
Lola spent the month learning to play lacrosse, keeping up with Girl Scouts, and getting ready for her spring dance recital! She also had her “Lucky Duck” week at school which she’s been looking forward to since September. And she’s decided that gymnastics isn’t her thing… which is surprising but our budget thanks her. 🙂
Baseball started for Javi! He’s been doing spring training and started private lessons to up his game a little bit! He’s super excited for the real season to begin. When he’s not at baseball, Cub Scouts, or school… he’s doing all things Pokemon.
Walker applied for a passport in March! He spent the month eating new foods, playing with new (to him) toys, fully discovering his love for sitting in shopping cars, and being quite the daredevil.
Eva spent March doing crafts, playing outside, taking her weekly gymnastics class and even had a playdate with a friend! She has a few more months and then… it’s kindergarten time for her!
March also meant a weekend away for me (scrapbook weekend!), and we had a leprechaun visit our house on St. Patrick’s Day! The kids were amazed!
Welcome to April!
Winter can feel slow, like everyone’s in hibernation mode — staying cozy at home. But…
I hear it all the time: why don't you just go back to work? When…
