Montessori Activities: 20 Months Old.

We had a big playroom makeover this month! With Javi going to school soon, I rearranged the work shelves and migrated Eva’s shelves to Lola’s previous shelves, and then Lola moved over to brand new shelves. Here’s a little look at the whole room now.

Here’s a peek at Eva’s current shelf.

Spooning pom poms: She started showing a real interest in Practical Life shelf work. So I gave her a tray of spooning pom poms from one bowl to another. She loves it.

Knobbed Cylinders: She’s also started to show an interest is some other Montessori materials we have. She’s so focused when she works.

After a few months of Eva ignoring her shelves, I’m happy to share that she’s interested in her trays again!
