In mid-June, Sean and I went to Maine for 5 nights. We called it a babymoon and even though I may have preferred to travel somewhere that involved a plane, I have to say that it was a lot of fun. We’ve already vowed to make it a tradition and we can’t wait to take baby there next June. While we were there we visited many places like Portland and Freeport (we may have even bought baby a few items), Bar Harbor and Boothbay Harbor and also did some things close to “home” (Sean’s grandma has a vacation home there and she so generously allowed us to stay there). We ate a lot, had ice cream nearly every night, went to the beach, shopped, drove all over, read, and I even tried to complete an entire puzzle (I didn’t succeed). It was relaxing and the perfect way to start the summer.
