Happy 2021! I haven’t posted since last year! Whoops! I’m not sure where January went but here we are, February 2nd.
January was busy and quick AND mundane and slow. Again, not even sure how that’s possible but it’s true. I think it’s sort of like that saying the days are long but the years are short. That’s how this time is going. Today marks 326 days at home. Three hundred twenty six.
In January, Eva started walking. She gives up pretty quickly and when she sees someone watching her walk, she drops to the ground but we know she can do it. Lola started preschool two days a week. It’s just for speech services but she’s loving it and has already learned to say ‘strawberry’. And Javi spends half his time on his hover board and the other half doing multiplication. He also got his first real haircut in 10 months.
Sean is still working from home, cooking us three meals a day and writing music in his spare time. He goes for nightly walks (despite the cold) and has been making me watch a lot of TV shows that I otherwise wouldn’t choose (but surprisingly, I’m enjoying!)
I’ve been spending the month organizing. I’ve been digging through drawers and cabinets and purging and containing. It’s the best. I’ve also been homeschooling, working a few hours each week, preparing shelves for our classroom environment and creating content for The Furniture Children. Again, busy but not really!
Happy February!
