I’m dusting off this blog to share a little bit about our May. It was a wild ride!
I had such a nice Mother’s Day. Sean and the kids made me chocolate chip pancakes and brought me breakfast in bed… where I stayed for more than half of the day! Then we had dinner together with family.
Lola has been working so hard and did work with the Movable Alphabet for the first time! She was so proud.
Javi fell IN LOVE with lacrosse and we spent a lot of time on the field!
We logged 54 hours outside!
All the kids got sick. It started with Javi having a fever for a few days. Lola ended up with a fever for about 6 hours. But once it traveled to Eva… she got really sick and ended up in the hospital for 3 nights. After 9 days of fevers (as high as 107), ultrasounds on her stomach and kidneys, an echocardiogram, an MRI, multiple blood draws, IV fluids, IV antibiotics, a catheter and a team of doctors from rheumatology, oncology, cardiology, infectious disease, neurology, and every other -ology, her final diagnosis was “fever of unknown origin”.
We’ve also been trying to track down an ice cream truck ALL month! It finally happened!
Sean’s parents came to visit and we went out to eat and got ice cream cones!
We’ve been going out for tacos lately and have finally declared a certain booth in the restaurant to be ours. ha! The kids loves it so much.
When Sean’s family came to visit we had a cookout and did a lot around house and yard. We even broke out our new inflatable pool/bounce house.
We’ve had some fires, s’mores and I can’t forget about sparklers!
We also got a dumpster and emptied our basement! Now, we can see a whole bunch of useful stuff… like our double stroller (!) and we’ve been going for walks again which is nice.
I hope to write some more detailed posts soon… things have just been crazy busy!
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
Our littlest guy is seven months old and is a lovebug!
Every October 1st, I give the kids Boo Baskets. They've become a favorite tradition and…
Ah, this has been the first month that I'm feeling a little behind on Walker's…
