We started the month by finishing up soccer — thankfully! Javi wasn’t sure he loved it but he was a great sport and was always pretty excited to go. But soccer is joining his list, along with baseball, of sports that he feels “ehh” about!
Javi and Lola participated in a kindness challenge where they completed acts of kindness and raised money for their school. Thanks to everyone who supported them! They put together kits for the homeless, donated their toys, clothes, shoes and halloween candy, and made care packages and cards for the fire department.
We spent a weekend away in Maine!
We took a trip and a tour of the fire station with Cub Scouts and our Den also won “Scout Idol” by performing a skit as pirates called “walk da plank”!
Eva turned three! We had a “yippee, I’m three!” party and went to the trampoline park. She also chose to toilet train herself (what!) the day after her birthday which is exactly what she told me she was going to do for like six months. She kept saying “when I turn three, I’ll pee in the toilet” — and that’s what she did!
We celebrated Thanksgiving! We hosted and it was a lot of fun. We also shared what we were thankful for and the kids enjoyed sharing things like “food”, “dresses” and “my house”.
And then, just like that… it became December!
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
