Our weekends in October were full! We spent most Sunday mornings cheering on Lola as she cheered on the town football team. Eva and Javi were along for the ride and especially enjoyed the day they got their faces painted! There were a few weekends, we had to divide and conquer — Lola at Cheer and Javi at Cub Scouts selling popcorn! Then for a few weeks, Lola also had field hockey! We were exhausted!
The girls and I went to Taylor Swift… at the movies! It was so much fun and totally worth it!
The kids had a day off from school in October so I took them to the zoo. It was decorated for Halloween and we spent the day looking at animals and halloween decor!
Lola finally took home the Spirit Stick from Cheer! She had waited all season — you have to show your spirit to be able to earn it, and it was finally her turn! 🙂 She also had a competition and her team placed third which meant they advanced to States!
Javi competed in a Ninja competition and he won!
He also had a busy month with Cub Scouts! Their overnight was canceled because of EEE (I guess mosquitos were bad?!) but he and Sean still spent a day “camping”, and his Den competed in Scout Idol.
Eva spent another month… sick! Poor girl! Ever since starting school, she has spent more time being sick than going to school! But she had fun with some home activities!
And then, of course, there was the main event of the month… Halloween!
Here are some other scenes from the month!
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
Our littlest guy is seven months old and is a lovebug!
Every October 1st, I give the kids Boo Baskets. They've become a favorite tradition and…
