Our October.

We had a pretty busy October so I thought I’d recap a little bit here.

The girls and I went to the zoo with our friends! Lola and Eva are so fun to be out and about with and it’s such a different dynamic to be without Javi. We miss him so much while he’s at school but it’s nice to be a little less pulled in different directions from 9-3 each day!

I started working with a new brand for The Furniture Children and Lola took these adorable photos with toothpaste!

I took Javi and Lola out to breakfast one morning with some friends. They got mickey mouse pancakes, of course!

Lola and Javi continued with Saturday morning Soccer! Javi enjoyed it very much — always looking forward to it. He’s shown himself to be a bit competitive! Lola, told me she liked doing soccer, but after the last practice, told me she never needs to play… ever again. ha!

We spent a weekend in Maine with Sean’s parents! The kids were SO happy to go there and it happened to be during a pumpkinfest — so there were pumpkins (giant ones!) painted in a little downtown area. We went out to eat, walked around a farmer’s market and did some shopping.

I spent a night in NYC with my parents and we went a little crazy at American Girl.

We also hosted a Dia De Los Muertos celebration! We watched Coco a billion times, read stories, Sean cooked an authentic meal, and we decorated our fireplace as an ofrenda.

Halloween was also fun! Javi knew right away that he was going to be Spider-Man (not to be confused with Spider-BOY who he was last year.) Lola wanted to be a pretty witch. And Eva, wasn’t into it! I didn’t buy her a costume because she was so nervous about anything remotely spooky. But when the day finally rolled around, she ended up wearing some of dress-up clothes. We called her a firefighting veterinarian.

We went to a few trunk or treats and then went trick or treating, too! It rained (as always!) but it was still fun!
