Seven months with Eva June.

Eva is seven months old! She’s officially called Evie Stevie, weighs probably 18 pounds, and is a belly laugher! She is so long, still drinks formula every 3 hours when she’s awake — sometimes just for a little taste — and has started eating “solids”. Mashed potatoes, rice and avocado are some favorites!

She loves the bath! She kicks and splashes like crazy! She hates the car! Even a quick trip requires a stop and a break like the picture above with Sean. 🙂

She’s totally obsessed with her siblings as long as they aren’t squishing her! She gets a bit jealous when I spend time with anyone other than her. She has a high pitched scream and cry she likes to throw out when that happens.

She HATED dipping her toes in the pool! But she LOVES her swing on our swing set. She cries when we take her out.

She’s started showing an interest in her surroundings and is curious about holding toys! I think I’ll do a post about what she loves but, for sure, she’s mouthing everything. She doesn’t have any teeth.

At six months, the pediatrician told me to call Early Invention for some OT support since she wasn’t rolling. We decided to hold off. I thought since she was premature we should give her more time, and that we should give her another month. Sure enough — a few days before she turned seven months she rolled front to back. We’re still waiting on back to front but she’ll get there!

She’s doing well with sitting up! She does fall forward at times but she loves being in this position. She’s not doing so well with sleeping alone. She’s still in our room and most nights ends up in our bed. She likes to be cozy. She’s in 12 month clothes and size 3 diapers. She still uses a pacifier.

This month we went to the Zoo for the first time! We also started seeing family (social distancing). We’ve been going for walks and playing outside and it’s been totally amazing spending all our time together. On Father’s Day we went to Mt. Wachusett.

She’s a complete joy in our lives and we all love her so much.
