Summer on the Cape, part 2.

It’s been nearly a month since my last post! (The end of) summer got away from me. But I’m here to share more pictures from the second part of our Cape trip from July/August.

I mentioned (complained about) this before, but Lola was feeling pretty miserable during this trip. By the time we left the Cape, she had 2 teeth poke through so we couldn’t blame her. Just know that, anytime we caught her in a smile… we took a picture of her. 🙂

Toward the end of the week, we went into every candy store and ice cream shop we passed. It was amazing. Javi went overboard picking out candy but actually really only wanted m&m’s. (his favorite candy!)

We also took Javi to his first go-cart and arcade experience. He was totally into it and had the biggest smile on his face the entire time. It was so hot the week we were on vacation, so we tried to do things indoors but sometimes the best things are only outside.

One day we took a harbor cruise out of Hyannis. It was so nice because kids were free if you took the cruise in the morning. It was a bit of a windy day, too windy for the beach, so we thought it would be a good day for a boat. ha! Totally wrong. It was so rough and we had to hold onto Javi and Lola so they wouldn’t fly off the ship! We also should have factored in Lola’s fear of water before we took her on a boat. The whole time she was whimpering! So afraid of water (like her mama).

We had a great week and can’t wait to go back next summer!
