TEN months! Evie now waves, has two teeth, and can even stand unassisted! This month, we widened our covid-pod to a few family members! We also spent a weekend in the Cape, went to the Zoo and to the drive-thru Dinosaur park! She got to sit up front 🙂
She’s become quite hard to change (diapers and clothes) and we may have to adapt to standing changes from now on! All she wants to do is roll over and move away. She’s still obsessed with me (and being around other people can still make her cry) but she’s learning to trust other people’s smiles! I’m still the only one who can calm her down if she’s upset.
She’s gotten a few bumps this month (with all the new movements — and the fancy footwork.) But she keeps on going! She tends to always go to the areas of the house I wished she wouldn’t and we need to do another sweep of her “yes space”. She is constantly in Javi and Lola’s stuff and it’s all too little for her since she mouths everything.
We’ve been spending a lot of time outside and she still LOVES her swing set! We also just got a new climber for her but she’s a little too unstable for it right now. This month, she helped us celebrate my birthday and Javi’s birthday! She didn’t have cake yet because I’m waiting for her first birthday to have such a big treat. Other than that, she eats anything and everything we eat! I’ve given her peanut butter once, but should probably try it one more time. She is wearing 12 month clothes and even got a new pair of shoes!
And now begins the best season of the year! I’m already planning a first birthday party for Evie. 🙂
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
