Ten months with Lola Rey.

Another month growing with Lola! She continues to be the light in the room, and she’s the happiest baby at daycare (says daycare)! We did so much together in this past month and I wanted to jot down some words about this precious time.

First, she went for her 9 month check-up! She weighs 20 pounds and is still tall… off the charts! She screams when the doctor comes near her as if he is trying to steal her away from me from forever! So, I guess “stranger danger” and the separation anxiety are strong!

We got some pictures taken of both Lola and Javi this month! They came out so great and I can’t wait to use some for our holiday card and share the rest on the blog.

We also went full force with her first halloween. She was a ladybug and wasn’t a total fan of her costume but put up with it. She went to a trunk or treat, trick-or-treating at the zoo and actual trick-or-treating on Halloween. This month she started really choosing toys off her shelves and playing with them. She loves the object permanence box, opening and closing cabinets and drawers and making noise with instruments. Oh, and she especially loves being with Javi and doing anything that he’s doing.

This month we also took a trip up to Maine and spent the weekend with Sean’s parents. She slept most of the road trip and smiled all weekend, even in the bitter cold!She still just has her two teeth and eats EVERYTHING. She sleeps through the night, drinks 4 bottles a day and will only take a nap in her carseat!

It’s been such a happy month together!
