Thanksgiving 2018.

This Thanksgiving was spent up in Maine with Sean’s family. Javi and Lola thoroughly enjoyed the weekend surrounded by people who wanted to play, and build puzzles, and snuggle. We went up Wednesday after work and came home on Sunday. Lola REALLY started walking during the weekend which made some points a challenge. 🙂

We had so much good food and company, and as soon as the Thanksgiving meal was over, I rejoiced in the fact that it was CHRISTMASTIME. I’m not such a fan of Thanksgiving…

We also went to a really cool lights display. Javi was amazed and it was so neat that no one seemed to mind that it was only about 17 degrees. I, of course, had on a fleece and TWO down jackets. I was freezing.

Sean and I also snuck away for half a day and started Christmas shopping. It’s so hard to make decisions! I want them to have everything and I don’t want anything new coming into the house! It’s a hard balance.

We also rescued a cat! There was a stray hanging around his parent’s house, in the frigid cold, so we took him to the shelter. He was such a cutie! We named him Humphrey and within just a few days he had been adopted into his forever home!
