The day before Thanksgiving, we made this “Thankful Turkey” by writing a whole bunch of things we’re thankful for on paper “turkey feathers”. The kids had a lot of fun thinking of things and surprisingly, the ideas came really easily to them. Some of my favorites they said were family, sweatshirts and various friend’s names. On Thanksgiving Day, Sean’s brother and his girlfriend joined us and then I brought the kids to my parent’s house for dessert.
