Valentine’s Day Love Baskets.

We had a very sweet Valentine’s Day. Of course it was busy between work and school and dance classes — but in between those commitments, we were able to shower each other with some Love Baskets!

I started doing these baskets a few years ago. My love language is definitely gift giving! I just love how excited the kids get for any little thing. This year, was no different! They were awake bright and early, digging through their baskets at 6AM on Valentine’s Day.

I got a variety of things — think want, need, wear, read. They got things like shirts, journals, some books (although, I gave these at the beginning of February), lipstick for the girls, craft supplies, small magnetic toys and a nintendo switch game (for Javi).

And no Valentine’s Day would be complete without chocolate! So I put together little boxes for each of them and when they lifted the lid, the box fell open to reveal a whole bunch of candy inside!

It was a fun little day. 🙂
