They were so excited to write their letters to Santa! It’s that crazy time of year when the kids tell me they want things for Christmas and then the next day, they offer me a full list of totally new gift ideas. Every day is something different! They look through every catalog that arrives and circle nearly everything on every page — they crawl into bed at 6AM and tell me they want to look at toys on the Amazon app — they willingly purge older toys to make room for new ones (that one’s not so bad!)
So I thought I would share some ideas that seem to be pretty steadily wished for! These are the items that keep getting talked about and keep getting circled and clicked!
First up: Javi. At 7 year olds I feel like he’s sort of in a limbo when it comes to toys. Many of the toys he’s familiar with are a bit too young for him, but most of the toys advertised for his age have to do with shooting and guns. I’m not into it. So what does he like? Games, Harry Potter and Legos. He also, really, wants to become a YouTube star. (ha)
Next: Lola. At 4 years old (nearly 5!) Lola wants anything and everything as long as it’s pink, flashy and shiny. Literally. She loves dolls, barbies, dress-up and absolutely anything that lets her brush hair — pony, barbie, dolls! Her favorite thing… Doc McStuffins. She’s also dying for make-up!
Lastly: Eva. At 3 years old, Eva just had a birthday where she got some gifts and now with Christmas around the corner — she’s making out at this time of year. Although, she’s the trickiest to buy for! She tends to follow her brother and sister and it’s hard to know what she enjoys vs. what she says she wants because of the others. Her interests? Play-doh, stuffed animals, singing + dancing, and putting things together… and taking them apart!
Each year, we also gift them a family gift. In the past we’ve done things like a box filled with a ton of dress-up, or a box of art supplies — one year, we gifted them the Nugget. This year, our family gift is GAMES! So I’ve picked up a ton of new (to us) board games, card games, cooperative games and more. They absolutely love to declare a night “family game night” but ours are stale. So this should help with that!
I’ve linked all of these ideas (and more!) in my Amazon storefront.
We're nearing the end of November, but I can't forget to recap October! I'll jump…
September brought chilly mornings, lots of family time, busy schedules and birthdays!
Our littlest guy is seven months old and is a lovebug!
