We had a great July 4th! We had a low-key and laid back morning. Of course, by 12:30, both kids were fast asleep in their beds napping. Something that NEVER happens so we thought it was really funny that it worked out that way on a holiday, when we had places to be!

Once they woke up we went to my parent’s house for a little cookout + lots of desserts, and so Javi could play in his pool. We even had some snapper and sparkler fun! It was Lola’s first fourth of July and I’d say it was definitely a success!
