Every October 1st, I give the kids Boo Baskets. They’ve become a favorite tradition (possibly tied with February’s Love Baskets) and I have as much fun putting them together as the kids have fun opening them!

I got most of the items from amazon, target, cvs and the dollar store! The baskets are from TJ Maxx and the pajamas were an Old Navy find. Actually, the pajamas caused a lot of hassle. I ordered them online and when they arrived I put the package they were in away (without opening it…) When I pulled it down to assemble the baskets on September 30th at 7PM, I realized the package was empty. Like… it was a sealed, empty package! So there I was… at Old Navy at 8PM rebuying the pajamas I thought I already was in possession of. And then, obviously, Old Navy didn’t have the proper sizes so everyone has a lot of extra room to grow in these jammies! But they LOVE them anyway.

I like to put a mix of things from matching pajamas, toys, a themed book, stationary and craft supplies, and some other random items like lego, nail polish, stickers, tattoos, a beanie boo, hair accessories, and more!

My favorite part of the whole thing was that they actually didn’t know it was October 1st. So when Eva found the baskets in the morning, she was shocked. I was surprised that she didn’t remember the baskets from last year! When Lola saw them she remembered what they were and was very excited. Javi was curious but not interested in any photos. And Walker LOVED his new things. He’s been playing with them for 3 days now.

Happy October!
