Early Spring Shelf Work.

Some new, bright Montessori shelf work for early Spring.

In the northeast, we’re never fooled by spring-like weather in early March. We know that a second winter is right around the corner! So I do save most of our true Spring activities like life cycles, birds, butterflies, plants, parts of a flower, etc. for mid-April when it makes more sense weather-wise to be talking about those things. However, I did take a few minutes to clear our shelves from St.Patrick’s Day and I put out some new, bright shelf work for these next few weeks.

Left to right, top to bottom:

– Egg matching

– Egg matching, color/shape

– Tonging: bunny moldtongs, chick erasers from Target dollar spot

– Scooping: mold from Michaels, bunny erasers and bunny ears measuring spoon from Target dollar sport

– 1:1 correspondence with numbers 1-10, egg erasers from Target dollar spot

– Number clip cards with butterflies from Michaels

– Decorating an Easter tree, tree from World Market, egg ornaments from JoAnn’s

– Pet animal dollhouse

– Tic, tac, toe

– Tree puzzle

– Spring dot printables and dot markers

Happy early Spring!
