Walker turned eight months! I really should have posted in real time because it’s so hard to remember what life was like a few weeks ago — but I’ll do my best!
This is the month we made it to the zoo, celebrated Halloween (he was a bat!) and he discovered toys! He started using the tunnel. At first he would get frustrated by it since he would try to turn around in the tunnel and get himself stuck. But after some practice, he realized it can be really fun! I decided to bring up the pikler triangle from the basement this month. So far, he just tries to kick it. He also loves anything he can hold on to and anything he can chew with his two little teeth.
Walker army crawls where he wants to go, is totally obsessed with the kids, still loves his bottles, and now eats a variety of foods! He likes eggs, cheerios and fruit in the morning, a pouch at lunch and enjoys whatever we eat for dinner. He’s a big fan of pasta and tacos. He also started drinking from a glass cup! As you can imagine, more water is spilled on him than is swallowed by him… but he just thinks he’s the coolest little man.
In just a few days, he has his 9 month check-up — I can’t believe it! But I’ll have a better idea about his growth and will share in his next monthly update! We joke that he’s the loudest baby, but I guess being #4 means he always needs to be a little louder to be heard!
