Sooo. Eva’s almost six months old and I’m slacking on her updates. Thankfully there’s no shortage of pictures of her during this time AND I even took her 5 month photo ON TIME which was a bit of a miracle. But to actually sit down and write seems impossible these days — quarantine or no-quarantine. Parenting 3 is like parenting a rock band. Honestly.
I’m not sure I remember what started happening when and I have no idea what she weighs or how long she is. I do know that her body is getting too big to cross body hold her when she sleeps. She’s sturdy now and holds her head up so strong. She thinks you’re going to tickle her every time you touch her belly. She still loves to tuck her hand into my shirt while she sleeps. She loves Javi and Lola and her eyes follow them wherever they walk. She smiles when I talk to her even if she’s sleeping. She laughs. She lets her pacifier dangle out of her mouth but if you try to take it away she sucks it back in like a lizard. She acts like she’s starving every 2 hours and it’s literally the end of the world. She’s too big for almost all her 6 month clothes. She’s getting baby rolls and has the prettiest smile. She’s also very noisy (and nosy). She’s ALWAYS chatting away even in her bassinet in the early morning (or in the middle of the night). I’m still totally in love with her.
