I’ve been getting some questions about gifts for children: what’s new, what’s worth it, what’s Montessori aligned. At the holidays, I tend to follow my kids wish lists (even if the items aren’t Montessori aligned.) But since people are asking, I thought it was easiest to share what my children are actually getting from us. For a complete list of Montessori ideas, check out my Montessori Gift Guide and my post about Montessori: Stocking Stuffers.

TODDLER: Eva is almost 2! She actually turns 2 right before Thanksgiving and we’re gifting her a Pikler Triangle (so I guess that’s another idea!) Other than that, it was a bit hard for me to think of gifts for her that we don’t already have! In fact, I need one big gift to match Lola’s and Javi’s big gifts. But I haven’t really thought of one yet!
Lovevery: The Helper Play Kit: includes the sink, dot catcher game, felt flowers, chunky puzzle, and art kit
PRESCHOOLER: Lola turns 4, two days after Christmas! So she needs Christmas and birthday gifts at the same time! That is tricky! I have a few other items for her and when it comes time to wrap, I’ll break them up into Christmas and birthday piles, but here’s the general idea for her! The dollhouse is her big gift.
Lovevery: The Storyteller Play Kit: tent, puppet theater, alphabet puzzle, book, and mop
KINDERGARTNER: Javi turned 6 in September and all he wants to do is build, create, and draw. And he wants anything and everything that involves Pokemon! The drum set is his big gift.
And yes, I’m taking bets on when I’ll regret the drum set. 🙂
What are you getting your children? I’d love to know!
