At the end of July, we scooped up four tickets to see the Redsox play the Yankees at Fenway Park. Sean and I went with my dad and Javi — it was Javi’s first game! He was so excited — but mostly for the cotton candy.

It was such a hot, sunny day and we were in the LAST row in the entire park. “Top of the green monster” — I guess that’s why such a popular game still had tickets at a reasonable price. It made you a little dizzy to be up so high! We went a few hours early to try to get some autographs but I guess they don’t do that now because of Covid. So by the time the game started, we had already been there for 2 hours. We stayed until the 4th inning and then Javi was ready to leave. It was probably 100 degrees!
It was a lot of fun! (but the Redsox lost to the Yankees.)
