Three months with Eva June.

Wow. These past couple of weeks, Eva has shown us her personality and she’s so fun! Especially, in the last week she’s been filled with smiles and even a few giggles! She coos, makes adorable noises when she sleeps, and is so aware of what is happening around her. What a difference!

This past month, she has become slightly (actually, very) attached to me. She cries when pretty much anyone else cares for her. She screams when Sean tries to feed her, wakes the whole house at night if he tries to rock her to sleep, and is already showing a very sensitive side! She only wants her mama — 24/7, which is a bit exhausting for me.

She was also very sick this month! She was diagnosed with RSV and landed in the hospital for a few days on oxygen. She’s on the mend now (well, now she has the flu..), but it was very scary and sad. She also has a cough and it’s been weeks.

We also celebrated our first Valentine’s Day together! I made the kids do a little photo shoot for me (they lasted a few minutes before complaining!).

She’s obsessed with her big brother and sister and it makes my life a lot easier when they’re home to entertain her! She loves watches them move around and I know she’s going to be off with them in no time.

She definitely grew in length, but lost a little weight because of being sick. She’s still in 0-3 month clothing, wearing size 2 diapers, and drinking 4 ounces every 3-4 hours — usually it’s closer to 3 hours. She eats around 3AM, 7AM, 11AM, 2PM, 5PM, and 10PM. Every once in a while she gives us a longer stretch at nighttime but it hasn’t been consistent yet! She’s still sleeping in bed with us.

She is such a light and we are so lucky to have her.
