Totman Cove, Maine.

Last month Sean went to London for a week. It was his first week at his new job and they flew him to London on his very first day. About 3 days into our week without him I took both kids to Maine to visit his mom and step-dad and their new house.

Last month Sean went to London for a week. It was his first week at his new job and they flew him to London on his very first day. About 3 days into our week without him I took both kids to Maine to visit his mom and step-dad and their new house. We hadn’t seen it yet and they moved into it in June. It’s beautiful! Sean’s a bit jealous we all saw it before him!

The drive up was pretty uneventful. It took about 4 1/2 hours which was decent considering the way home took around 6 hours. 6 hours in a car with a screaming Lola and Javi who insisted on snacks, snacks and more snacks — tough! But I did it and now I feel like I can go anywhere (ha!). While we were there we went to a really neat beach and it’s where all the pictures I wanted to share are from. We were almost the only group on the entire beach except for 2 women and then one more family. The tide was 1/4 mile out and there was so much space to walk and for Javi to run. It looked amazing.

This beach experience was the first one that Lola allowed me to put her down in the sand! She was a bit confused by it but didn’t cry so I think she liked it. Hopefully she holds onto that feeling until next summer 🙂
