Montessori Activities: 21 Months Old.

Today I’m sharing some activities and shelf work that Eva’s been doing this last month! She’s 21 months old.

Painting: This month, Lola started using the Blossom and Root curriculum and Eva is reaping the benefits! She loved this painting activity where she used blue and yellow and then (eventually) mixed the colors to make green.

Exploring Nature with Children: We started following a nature-based curriculum this month! We picked our “nature spot” at a nearby trail and we’ve been going for a walk each week and observing any changes we see. Eva loves the walking part and looking at the wildlife and flowers.

Puzzles: She’s moved onto more challenging puzzles! She loves this Melissa and Doug one.

Pouring: Another shelf work is pouring. She’s now using pitchers with handles and a good amount of water! Here’s a little pouring sequence I wrote.

Apple picking: We got the chance to go apple picking this month and I’ve never seen Eva more excited! She insisted on doing everything herself.
